Forecasts & Forecast Rationale
Most services feature long-range forecasts; however, the type of projections provided depends on the characteristics of the specific market intelligence service. A majority of our market intelligence services are program- or system-oriented (aircraft, vehicles, weapons, electronics, and power systems) and provide 10-year forecasts of annual units of production or funding levels for each program or system. Other services, such as our Defense/Aerospace Companies and International Military Markets series, provide projected gross-sales data and equipment inventories, respectively. Finally, our Airborne Retrofit & Modernization Forecast (because of its unique nature) provides 15-year “Opportunity Outlooks.” These statistics are supported by a statement of opinion by the analyst covering market trends and speculation on additional opportunities and program potential.
Supplements – Update Your Service
All reports are thoroughly updated on an annual basis. When warranted, Interim Updates of individual reports are issued to cover dramatic program developments. Clients receive new reports in the form of monthly supplements of selected portions of the service. As an added bonus, each supplement comes complete with a pull-out “Highlights” report of noteworthy or late-breaking market developments, providing an additional forum for the analysts to address pertinent topics. CD-ROM services are sold on the basis of a licensed operating period, and are time-dated.
