HAWK was founded in 1989 as an International Information Group. Associate Offices are based in strategic centres worldwide and are located in Amsterdam, Bonn, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait City, London, Los Angeles, Moscow, New York, Oslo, Oxford, Paris,  Rome, Singapore, Taipei and Tel Aviv. Our EMEA offices are involved in the following range of services:

Forecast International is a privately owned research and consulting firm which was founded in 1973. Its research extends to all areas of Transportation, Communication, Information, Power Systems, Defense and Aerospace Industries.  In 1989 FI acquired the assets of its principal competitor, DMS. In 1992 Hawk Associates Ltd were appointed as exclusive representatives in EMEA.


Information is available on-line, on disks, on DVD and through a licensing program for main-frame and personal computers. The current product line encompasses 28 market intelligence services, HTML data for secure intranet application, Real Time on-line plus a large variety of specialized one-time reports and electronically produced products including forecasts down to component level.

Forecast International specializes in long-range forecasts designed to help strategic planners, and has developed many innovative firsts in forecasting. It was the first to introduce regular ten-year forecasts in all of the areas it covers, and now produces many specialized forecasts of 20 years or longer. To support this research, it has developed a series of highly sophisticated databases which company officials believe are the most complete and accurate of their type worldwide. Company philosophy stresses completely realistic forecasts based upon hard data and rational assumptions, and the firm prides itself on the quality and integrity of its work. FI is independent of any private or governmental interests and maintains an unbiased approach to the subject areas studied. Its conclusions are entirely its own, based upon an analysis of available information, and tempered by the judgement of its analysts.

A substantial part of FI's efforts are now directed toward proprietary research performed worldwide by the Forecast Consulting Group.
